Congrats to Lilia Dulas coming in the top 100 in the 2024 IMTA First Year Maths Competition. There were over 14,500 entries from 233 schools across the country. Only one student achieved 100% and a total of 63 students achieved over 84%
TYs spent the morning in a Q&A session with the Vice-president of the European Parliament with other schools from all over Europe. They then spent the afternoon discussing the Protection of Democracy and Fundamental Rights in Europe.
TY students ventured to Youghal for the 2024 First Cut! Youth Film Festival. They were delighted to see the short film they created last November on the big screen along with other secondary schools from Cork as part of the Cork Young Filmmakers Countywide Youth Arts programme.
