Girls with an interest in STEM, ranging from 1st to 5th year, experienced the Go Girls, Formula Female programme. It’s aim is to engage, educate and empower teenage girls all over Ireland. The programme is run by Olympian Nicci Daly, former international hockey player for Ireland and 2018 World Cup semi finalist.
It provided an opportunity for them to take part in a STEM workshop that aligns with their science, maths and engineering subjects and connected it to the world of motorsport.
They got to experience SIM racing using state of the art Kart sims from Digital Motorsports. Congratulations to Martha McDonald (3rd Year) who had the fastest lap of the day 0.57.440 ⭐️🏎️⏱️
