Massive congratulations to Ciara Walsh on placing second in the All Island Healthy Home Chef Senior competition. Ciara beat off stiff competition from 16 finalists after qualifying from over 600 entries.
She has won 15 sets of equipment from Neven Maguire’s range in Dunnes Stores for the school, a cookery master class with Neven in Dublin working with the Dunnes ‘Simply Better’ product range, a signed copy of the ‘Home Economics for Life’ cookbook by Chef Neven Maguire, a commemorative medal & apron especially designed for the competition. Ciara also won a €250 voucher for Dunnes Stores.
We are extremely proud of her achievement. Many thanks to ATU St. Angela’s College for hosting the competition; the range of skill on display today was phenomenal.
