Why just learn to play the Bodhrán when you can make your own first? Transition Years enjoyed an unbelievable workshop yesterday when they learned how to make their own Bodhráns. A huge thanks to Michael Vignoles for the workshop. The students were supplied with all the materials to make a complete bodhrán, a frame, goatskin, crossbars tacks etc. After the bodhrán was completed, they personalised their bodhrán with a design of their choice. This was followed by a lesson on Jigs and reels. Some unreal designs were created by them all.
